Fill in the Blanks

Description

Authors create text-based questions by providing a text with multiple blank spaces. Learners will type their responses in the blank space. Authors can chose to provide feedback after all answers have been submitted, or immediately after each blank is completed.

When to Use Fill in the Blanks

Fill in the Blanks is most useful when used to test learner knowledge of concepts. They can be an alternative to traditional multiple choice questions, providing higher levels of cognition for the learner. Fill in the Blanks is great to pair with additional activities via a Course Presentation, Interactive Book, Interactive Video, Question Set, or Column Layout.
